Interesting day. Robert Ford kills Jesse James in 1882, Richmond falls to Grant in 1865, the Pony Express is born (google it kids) in 1860, Jack the Ripper makes his first kill in Whitechapel, London in 1888, Stalin is elected (or named) the first General Secretary of the Communist party in the USSR (google it kids) and some rich people flew a plane over Mt. Everest in 1933.

The ACLU condemns Alan Ginsberg’s Howl  as obscene. And finally, Martin Luther King Jr delivers the Mountaintop speech in my hometown, the day before he was assassinated.
